Quran: 1. Surah Al-Fatihah (The Opener):

The Quran has 30 chapters or Surahs. Each Surah has verses or Ayat. The first chapter is Surah Al-Fatihah (The Opener). It has 7 verses.

Children are taught Surah Al-Fatihah from small. By the time the child attends formal school, a Muslim child can recite Sural Al-Fatihah by heart.

A Muslim remembers Surah Al-Fatihah for life and does not forget this first Surah learnt in early life.

Surah Al-Fatihah is the opening chapter of the Quran. It is read in all prayers that Muslims offer, including the mandatory five daily prayers.

Surah Al-Fatihah is used for protection from evil and syaitan (devil). It is read along with two other Surahs and blown into the hands and stroked from the face down to the legs before a Muslim goes to sleep.

Surah Al-Fatihah is used for healing and treatment of many conditions and diseases, from simple to complex, including those which Western medicine cannot treat or does not have a medicine yet.
